To fix split ends in between trims is a simple matter of cutting them off also known as dusting. This will prevent them from moving further up the hair shaft. You will need a very sharp pair of hair cutting shears. Take a section of hair and gently twist into a loose rope, any hairs that pop out of the rope you can cut off. For the most part, split ends occur in dry and/or brittle hair and occurs when the cuticle layer as been stripped away from the end of the hair. While there is no cure for split ends once the cuticle layer has been damaged you can take these preventative steps:

Diluted honey can serve as an excellent antiseptic because the naturally occurring hydrogen peroxide won’t harm the tissues and no scarring will occur.

The word diet is presumed to mean a specific food constriction to lose weight. However the real meaning of diet in nutritional terms means the sum of food consumed. The meaning of the word diet has been warped over the years giving a misconception. Therefore by eliminating or restricting the intake of carbohydrates you can lose fat. Most low carbohydrate diets emphasize the consumption of protein to burn fat and build muscle. Low calorie diets restrict the amount of calories that one can consume each day. Normal low calorie diets reduce the calories by 500-1000 calories. • it’s short term, bcs they’re growing, learning, changing
• you only have to do ‘so much’ & then back off & let them handle things
• don’t take an action from being guilted or shamed by someone
• not to boost your self-esteem or sense of identity
• you’re cup is full enough that you’re not draining yourself dry
• don’t NEED a return for your efforts – it is appropriate to get paid, get thanked, have some reciprocity, BUT not secretly NEED it
• they genuinely can’t do something for themselves, but it’s temporary
• you can do it without being resentful or hurt yourself in some way
• you’re NOT trying to do the impossible (force-fix someone’s damage)
✦ This generally represents the Hero role ( pg.20 on SiteMap) which is most often the job of the first born child in a dysfunctional family. They’re supposed to pick up the slack where the parents leave off – being the little adult to make the family look healthier than it really is, but at the expense of the child.
2. Prerequisites - for H.H.

• having good self-esteem, solid sense of identity not dependent on others

• not needing to use people to feel good about ourselves

I'll bet it felt different and once you got past the different feeling, your productivity went up.
Each day he first grabbed the A location and put them in order of importance and then went to work. As to the large drawer, on the 30th of the month he pulled the drawer out and dumped it in the garbage without looking through it. Whatever was in the drawer had not become important and had no immediate value.
Gene was a mentor of mine in the 80's and had a unique way of prioritizing things. He had three locations in his office where he put things.
A psychologist I knew took a calendar and put all the family activities on including dates with her spouse and friends. Then she put in all the projects and business appointments she had to do in the open spaces. There were some compromises and yes, she did some evening and weekend work.
Test; if you have stuff on your desk or your brief case or car is cluttered up, simply remove everything. I don't care what you do with it; just get it out of the way! Now take the most important priority and have only that in front of you! Work on it for 55 minutes. How did it feel? How productive were you? What about distractions?
Yep,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], its 11pm and your still working on the stuff you brought home. The kids are in bed and so is the spouse. By the way, the spouse is not happy about this either.
The ability to focus for that extra 30 minutes and get it dealt with now is the single biggest factor between people who control their time and those that have no time.
The sad thing about all this is how it affects our quality of life,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], family and personal esteem. When these areas of life become negative, work performance is also declining!
2. Priorities: This ties into Focus but many will say, "I have so many priorities and demands!" Yes, we all do,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the difference is not all are top priorities,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they only seem to be.

5. Schedule Dates: If there is one thing I hear from almost everyone, it is more time for family or self. The guilt associated with not being with family or having self-time is a strong internal distraction. So how do you combat this distraction and guilt?
Either these core issues put people in control of their lives or lack of these put them out of control!
3. Clutter: This is one of the deadliest of time management sins. It is distracting,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], overwhelming and self-defeating!
The results of Gene's system, he had time to be creative, always seem to have time for his employees and friends and attended most of his children's activities. By the way, he was running six companies at this same time.

Can you set up some type of system to help you prioritize what is the most important in accomplishing your outcomes! Of course, you have to define those outcomes or goals and give them focus.
In the second example we use up a tremendous amount of energy and time with very little results! Thus, more hours and exhaustion are the real results.
b. A do it this week place for those items he needed to do but had time or needed to get information or input on. Again, these had an impact on his required outcomes.
So how do you stop this runaway train that consumes our time!
Now you may not have the flexibility the psychologist has,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but setting "dates" with those important to you can go a long way to eliminating the guilt feelings that can occur and distract us.
This is not an isolated situation, rather it is happening more often than not to more people. With company downsizing and the need for getting more from less the pressure is on. The forty-hour week now is stretched to 50-60-70 hours. If you’re an owner, you already know about the 60 hours, but 90 plus hour weeks!
My friend Vince Harris has a unique way of approaching this. He walks in to a client's office with a large garbage bag and anything that is not of immediate importance is put in the bag. The client now is never allowed to have anything that is not a priority visible at any time. As they gain time, they take one item out of the bag in the closet and complete it. Vince gets nothing but very positive feedback on this approach!
4. Do It Now: in the Time Management field, these are the most powerful three words. Yes, you and I are tired, have others demands right now and just do not feel like it.
The old saying of "Start everyday by swallowing a frog" is really about the do it now aspect. When those challenges come up, take a deep breath, smile broadly and go after it. You are now in control rather than the fear being in control.
This includes those nasty things we all have to do. Deal with that negative person or situation, that issue or task you just hate to do. By doing it now you have eliminated an internal distraction and cleared your mind to focus on the next priority.

Here are five simple, yet challenging keys that can change your life!
1. Focus: It has been proven time and again that we are most efficient when we focus on one task or item at a time. I do not care what they say about "multi-tasking", its BS! Our brain works like a car. If all four wheels are turning in the same direction, we reach our destination in the most efficient way and on time.

I was asked once what my favorite exercise was. Initially,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I thought this was a silly question since different situations call for different exercises. However,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], after some thought and further observation of other personal trainers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I realized that the one exercise that I use the most is the lunge.
Every personal trainer has lunges and its many variations in his/her arsenal. In fact,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it is the variations that make this exercise a favorite among professional trainers. First, you can perform lunges in different planes. Most people are familiar with stepping lunges in a sagittal plane. Basically this is where you step forward and then return to the starting standing position. But lunges can be performed by stepping to the sides as well. This is particularly useful when training athletes playing in team sports like volleyball,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], basketball,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], football, or soccer. These athletes need to be able to move sideways swiftly,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], therefore,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the side lunges prepare them for such moves. I also like to use a variation of lunges where a client steps to the rear. This exercise requires more balance and stability as we rarely move to the rear in real life. This type of exercise is often called multi-plane lunges.

Lunges can also be divided into different movement types. For instance,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], many clients begin with stationary lunges. The client only moves up and down while the feet are positioned in place. The advantage of this type of lunge is that a client can really work on the control of the motion. Once the motion is performed close to the ideal the client can then move to stepping lunges. Let us not forget that an advanced client can also return to the stationary lunges to retrain stability. After all, over time we develop compensations that distort the quality of any movement. Hence,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], returning to stationary lunges is a good idea. Another lunge movement type that is very popular among personal trainers is the walking lunge. This exercise is an excellent method of training the stability of transition from one leg to another. Not surprisingly, walking lunges are a very common exercise used by athletes.
Additionally, some trainers have gotten pretty creative with lunges. I like to have my clients do stepping lunges with a bar on their shoulders while rotating their torso as they step. This will work the muscles of the legs as well as the muscles of the torso. Some get even more creative. I have seen trainers having their clients do walking lunges while swinging a kettlebell between their legs as they step. The variations to lunges are numerous, and as personal trainers, we always strive to add an interesting variation to a workout. This is precisely why lunges will never drop out of flavor in the ever-changing fitness world.

Now,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we need the omega-3’s and the omega-6’s to be in the proper combination to be most effective to us. Empirical evidence shows that the proper ratio is about 4:1 between omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids. What do you suppose our average diet gives us? About a 20:1 and up to a 40:1 ratio; not even close to the optimal ratio.
Eat more fish! You’ve heard that said before, and now you know why.
Why is the balance so out of whack? Well, our normal diets are rich in omega-6 fatty acids. We get them from meats, dairy products,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and processed foods. We eat a lot of those foods on average. We get omega-3 fatty acids from certain vegetable oils such as flaxseed,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], canola, and soybean. What do they do? Well, the omega-3 fatty acid, for example is used for the production of healthy cell membranes and for the production of a class of hormones called prostaglandins. You know how aspirin and acetominophen are anti-inflammatories? So are the prostaglandins that our bodies produce from omega-3 fatty acids.
Do you know how else you will benefit from increased consumption of omega-3 fatty acids? Your cholesterol level will improve. You see, the essential omega-3 fatty acids have the ability to help decrease your total cholesterol and your LDL cholesterol level. The LDL cholesterol is the so-called bad cholesterol. So you will improve your cholesterol levels by adding a better balance of omega-3 fatty acids to your diet.
Especially the salmon. It is especially rich in the beneficial omega-3 fatty acids. Salmon , or any of the other omega-3 rich fish (but what tastes better than good salmon?) should be consumed at least once a week.
Did you know that some fats are essential to the body? Yes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], there are some fats that our body cannot produce which means that we must get them from our food. Perhaps you’ve heard of omega-3 fatty acids and omega-6 fatty acids. These are both considered essential and must be supplied by the foods we eat.

Why? It produces more Oxygen through your carotid artery flow to the brain for
